Re: Zotac BIOS settings
When the CMOS battery dies, the Zotac doesn't boot anymore, and even doesn't show anything on screen (which is unusual). The CMOS battery inside the Zotac is shrink wrapped and has cables and a connector attached, which plugs into the motherboard. To get to the battery, you have to remove the whole ...

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
For those reading along, I came in contact with Shredso again via Pinside and he indicated that this issue was still unresolved. Hi Shredso, I'm sorry this issue has not been resolved yet. In my defense I only rejoined DP this year and did not have access to a working BOP2.0 myself till a couple of ...

Re: Reset due to +12V drop
Hi André, Your research is correct. It's better to provide separate power to the display, which was implemented in later batches. Something like the following should do the job: https://www.amazon.de/Netzadapter-Transformatoren-Stromversorgung-Europ%C3%A4ischer-Energieklasse/dp/B01N7THM03 Thanks, Koen

Re: coin door buttons wont work
Hi Hesher,
You found the correct instructions to fix the "report a software error" popup.
About the other issue, it's best to e-mail the official support channel: support@dutchpinball.com
Thanks, Koen

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
While the game is running that is as expected. The game spans 3 processes, explaining the 3x start.exe: - the game (including all graphics) - the display - live functionality The game is in a constant while loop to react to potential to switch hits and feeding graphics to the display process. This e...

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
Can you try, while 1.0 is running: Windows key + E (opens explorer) Go to (not sure of the exact folder, but you've been there before to update the version file): C:\Dutch Pinball\brideofpinbot\1.19\pinmame\ Now double click the pinmame.ahk file that should be there. The game normally executes that ...

Re: Ball Lock Issue
Hi Shredso, Have you tried the Switch Test in the BoP2.0 service menu? Because the way you had trouble locating lock1 and lock2 I'm not sure if you're maybe using the BoP "1.0" service menu? If there's anything funky happening in the switch matrix you might be able to see it in the 2.0 swi...

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
Hm, yes deleting 1.19 and reinstalling would be my suggestion, although you'll lose any highscores that were set since the 1.19 update. The fact that the display is working in the earlier version means that the window moving script (AutoHotKey) is still intact, so that can't really be it. Quite puzz...

Ok, also those switches should stay closed as long as the balls are in the respective lock positions.

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
Hi Shredso, Thanks for the photo.. that definitely helps. What we see is the original PinMAME display (the 1.0 game emulator). Which I agree is ugly. What normally happens, is a script resizes that PinMAME display to the smallest possible size, moves it to the top left of the monitor (behind the spe...

Re: Ball Lock Issue
Hi Shredso, Thanks for mentioning the switches seem fine when testing with a ball.. that's important. It's possible the two "lock" switches on the wireform are switched around. I think there are connectors below the playfield and it's possible to switch them. lock2 should be the top one lo...

Re: Latest batch BoP1.0 display size
In version 1.18, this is one issue that was fixed: - PinMAME emulation now scales according to the display scale setting to support displays with a different resolution. Have you tried adjusting the scaling value of the display: Adjustment Menu -> Display -> Scale. If I'm not mistaken this should be...

Jesder, thanks for reporting and for the reproducing steps - very useful.
I don't foresee 1.20 happening soon (I don't have a BoP2.0 machine to work with) but I won't say never.

Re: BoP 2.0 SSD Mirror tutorial
Hi Jesder, Nice job on the guide! 1) You are correct, all settings, audits, highscores, profiles etc. are in the database/database.db file in the 1.1x version folder that is your active version. The live folder only contains temporary DMD feed data. 2) Your assumptions are right :) 3) I think that w...

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hi Peter, I see you shoot the Heartbeat ramp on 0:33 without problem. Also the lightshow and display animation that goes with that shot (Lock 2 is lit) is very responsive. Then at 1:07 the second Heartbeat ramp shot the lightshow and display animation kicks in very late, when the ball is already on ...
