Flipper Switch Mod

Anyone have more information on the menu option for flipper switch mod? I found the below in the change log, but the confusion is it says "mod support", is there something you have to do to the game to make this work, or do you just enable it in the settings and it changes the behavior as described? I can't seem to find any more documentation on this mod.

Flipper Switch Mod support: Flippers disabled during bonus count down and implemented paging through attract mode screens.

Added setting "Adjustment Menu -> Peripherals -> Flipper Switch Mod", which adds support for the "BoP2.0 Flipper Switch Mod" by disabling the flipper coils while in player profile menus and Videomode.

Correct: it's a mod by Scott Danesi which allows us to use the flipper button switches while the flippers are disabled, making the game react more like a modern DMD era game would.

Yes, buy the mod. When you go into video mode there's no flipping. Just the car moving. Pretty cool and plays like a newer game.

I just ordered one of these for myself. Looking forward to installing.

Is it just during video mode it cuts the flippers out? Or does it also prevent them firing when selecting profiles at the start of the game?

Hi Jesder,

Yes, during profile selection / highscore entry / game selection as well. So in places were it makes sense. Really nice mod by Scott, I'm sure you will like it.

Thanks for the reply Koen :) Glad to hear you implemented into a few places! I forgot about the flippers being active in the game selection screen - great to hear you implemented it here too! Nice work!

The Aux flipper upgrade kit arrived safely a finally got around to installing it today.

I put together a small post with some photos as part of my BoP 2.0 overhaul here -http://www.enteryourinitials.com/2018/0 ... ice-log-5/

I'm really happy with it. Easy to install and nice to not have the flippers going while in the menus and video mode.
