flippers hiccup when shoot power charge

Post by berzerker »

Curious if this is a bug or a feature... My flippers cut out for just a pulse when I shoot the power charge (scoop during a multiball). Only really noticeable if I have a ball or two trapped up when I shoot the power charge, as it pulses just long enough to lose control of any trapped when I shoot it. does it to both flippers.

It's designed that way .

The goal of the "Power Charge" is to keep both flippers up for a few seconds. Doing this while you have balls cradled wouldn't pose a challenge, so that's why we pulse the flippers when the ball enters the scoop, so you have to regain control of the balls while doing the power charge.

I suspected as much, but wanted to be sure. Thanks for the reply!

I noticed that too - thanks for clarifying.
