The problem with unrecognized switches no longer exists.
However, it sometimes happens that the Flipper Fingers simply switch off in the game.
Now found out that happens just when a switch is hit.
Which switch does not matter, it happens everywhere.
On the video you can see it at the end.
The entrance switch of the cardiac ramp is still running, then the flipper fingers fall off at the heart exit switch and are dead. With the next ball, everything goes again.
The error occurs only in Bop2 mode, if you select the original game of Williams, the device runs properly.
Have checked all the switches and some exchanged for new ones, swapped USB cables and tried on various USB ports.
Find no solution to the problem.
Have ordered in my desperation even a Rottendog Powerdriver Board, but do not think that it is because in the original mode is all right.

I'm grateful for every little tip.

In play the right and left Flippers go off
Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hi Peter,
I see you shoot the Heartbeat ramp on 0:33 without problem. Also the lightshow and display animation that goes with that shot (Lock 2 is lit) is very responsive.
Then at 1:07 the second Heartbeat ramp shot the lightshow and display animation kicks in very late, when the ball is already on the end of the heartbeat ramp.
I think what happens is for some reason the computer "hangs" for a second, causing the "watchdog" of the P-ROC to shut off the flipper relay for safety. So the real cause I think is the computer hanging. Some questions:
- what version BoP2.0 code are you running? Please check in Service Menu -> Software. If it's not the latest (1.19) please update (http://www.dutchpinball.com/bride_of_pi ... 0_software) and report back.
- do you have "Live" enabled? Maybe updating the Live page causes the hangup (it shouldn't but it might, especially in older code versions). Try turning that off in the Service Menu -> Adjustments -> Live.
Also interesting to know is if it always hangs on this particular animation / shot (Lock 3 is lit) or if it's more random. But if it's always on loading an(y) animation, the hard disk might be too slow, is it the original hard disk you're using?

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hello Koen,
thanks for your help.
I play it in version 1.19.
The hardware was already installed, so I can not say if everything is original.
I've already noticed that from time to time animate animations hangs. I think Live is off , but I'm not sure.
Can not look again for the flipper until Friday because he is in our club.
Since I have already drawn an image for security, it might be good times to test a new SSD install.
Which SSD would you recommend, rather a better one than saving money.
Many greetings Peter

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hello Koen,
have exchanged the old SSD for a new one after your error analysis.
After that, we played about 4 hours on the pinball machine without a single mistake.
Thanks again for your help, now she finally lives.

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hi Peter,
Can you please advise which new SSD you went with and how you cloned the old drive to the new one? I'm wanting to make a back up of mine in case my drive ever fails so am keen to know the process you used
Thanks!

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Hi,
I bought this SSD.
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0784S ... UTF8&psc=1
I always use "Acronis True Image" to copy and backup all my hard drives.

Re: In play the right and left Flippers go off
Thanks for that, will check the drive out. I have heard of Acronius before - did you install the software onto the BoP PC and back up to the new drive externally? Or did you have to remove the BoP drive and connect it up to another machine to do the back up?agima2000 wrote:Hi,
